I just finished listening to Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater which is a great book, unfortunately the sequel isn't out for a year. Martin Chronicles by Ray Bradbury is good, but crazy and I like it. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier was good, but I would have prefered if a hundred pages in the middle of the book had been cut out. Chris Crutcher who wrote Deadline, one of my favorite books, just came out with a new book, Angry Management, which i liked.

Survival of the Sickest
I loved it, I mean Survival of the Sickest was great, one of those books that you read and learn tons and still come up with more questions than answers, it was also beautifully written. Battle Cry by Leon Uris was also great, harsh, plain, but still beautiful. However I have started reading Exodus by Leon Uris and compared to Battle Cry it's nothing. Need by Carrie Jones was very good one of those books that is similar to twilight, but not a copy and only one slight similarity no vamps though. I have discovered a site called scribd where you can read other people's manuscripts/fan fiction.

The Book Theif
I don't like it, I tried to read it several times and found it very boring. If you like it, lucky you. Chosen is very good, it's about a girl in an African country entering the harem of the King and then becoming Queen.

What's Up??
I just finished a series about magic; the first book is Enchantment Inc. they are really good, if you read the back they sound like romance, but they're not. I am going to start the new Tamora Pierce book soon, and finish the new Maximum ride book.

I've been reading several books through out House Atreides, it's long and full of politics. I'm waiting to get the new Tamora Pierce book; Bloodhound. In between chapters of House Atreides, I've read Stories from My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding, and My Sister is a Werewolf. As well as The Elegant Universe and The Trouble with Physics. A while ago, I read The Beautiful Miscellaneous, it's great and the movie looks good to, though I haven't seen it yet. The Twilight books were good, but not good enough for such a big deal to be made about them, they're like black clothes, they don't make you goth.

The First
So this is my very first post. Currently I read a book a day, occasionally it takes longer. When it does take longer, I start to read other books as well as the main one. I mainly read teen books, but I am branching of into adult fiction, and occasionally a chapter or two of nonfiction. Life's too short to read books you don't like, so if anyone tells you to read a book try the first chapter, and if you don't like it move on, but please, please don't force your way half through a book and then drop it. Philip Pullman and Tamora Pierce are awesome, though Tamora Pierce is getting a bit to young. Erin McCarthy, and for that matter Cormac McCarthy are great. I love Of Mice and Men, hate The Catcher in the Rye, though it's so short I might try it again. I'm currently reading To Kill a Mocking Bird, I know, It's sad that I haven'd read it yet. I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, (sorry to my English friends that it's not the Philosipher's Stone) in First Grade, and Jean M. Auel's The Clan of the Cave Bear in third. I've read Panic in Level Four, great book a random collection of the latest Science stuff, very interesting, very drawing, don't read the last chapter. The Great Influenza, was great, listen to it, don't read it, it's to long and complicated to read. I am one of those people who reads and isn't morally opposed to listening to audio books, some times you can't read.
And so I end my first post, see you soon
